The Library is home to the Western State Archives. The purpose of the Archives is to preserve the history of the Western State College of Law (the Law School). It serves as a source of records of enduring historical value and seeks to support the academic mission of the Law School.

While the Law School's Archives include the categories of records described above, the collection is dependent upon individuals, organizations, and departments depositing items for retention. Therefore, the Archives do not necessarily contain complete documentation within each category.
